Arctic Fox

In the harsh arctic environment with very scarce prey the Arctic fox will follow a polar bears footprints on the snow and hope to scavenge a seal carcass.

If unsuccessful the Arctic fox will use its keen sense of sight and smell to hut for smaller mammals, eggs or berries occasionally they will sniff out a seal pup and then they will dig until they reach the pups lair. their fur supplies great insulation in the temperatures between -50 to -58 and when severe winds blow they will dig a hole several feet deep.
